Buddha's Birthday Celebrations

Today, the Asian world marks the celebration of Buddha's birth. Just over 2500 years ago, Siddhartha Gautama was born in India, and his philosophy of enlightenment has spread across the Asian world ever since.

Some co-workers invited me to join them with their families for the festivities being held at a Buddhist temple on the Jinhae Navy Base. So I joined the crowds of hundreds of soldiers and their families at the facility for an afternoon of fun. Here is Mrs. Park and Mrs. Nam.
